Awesome fight scenes, Brandon Lee Rocks!

"Rapid Fire" is a film which delivers better acting, plot and action than many contemporaneous films with much larger budgets and big name talent. Brandon Lee was involved in the planning of every fight sequence and the result is simply some of the best fight choreography in an American production of the time. In particular, the sequence between Brandon and Al Leong (Minh) is fantastic. Both Brandon Lee and Powers Boothe deliver strong performances, while Nick Mancuso and Tzi Ma are superb as the dueling drug lords.. I can easily recommend "Rapid Fire" to any action film fan with an hour and a half of free time. If you decide you like "Rapid Fire", I would also recommend "Showdown In Little Tokyo", a buddy cop action film with Brandon and Dolph Lundgren. It is a real tragedy that Brandon Lee was killed by the reckless incompetence of others on the set of "The Crow". It is likely he would have enjoyed a long and successful career as a film star and celebrity.

This is one of the best martial arts movies ever, along with Showdown in Little Tokyo starring Brandon Lee and Dolph Lundgren. Brandon's kungfu style looks great and this movie has some of the best choreographed fight scenes ever which is in the tradition of Brandon and his father Bruce Lee. Very cool to see Brandon's character improvising mid-fight like when he kicks right through the stairs rather than waiting for the goon to finally get to the bottom of the stairs or when he rearranges the guy's face with the refrigerator door. Watch this movie then rent Showdown in Little Tokyo. The martial arts film world suffered a great loss when Brandon and Bruce were murdered.
