I can't believe people didn't like this movie. Firstly, this movie was made in 15 days, on a shoe string budget, and had only 1 stunt. For me, this movie shows that to be successful, you just need confidence and support from someone. Anyone. Even a stranger. I love the way Morgan makes fun of himself - hiding his "discounted" movies with Ashley Judd. And seeing the spectacle of Target and buying discount socks. Characters are wonderful and real. But I enjoy movies that have deep insights. If you're looking for a movie about a psychoanalyst that tries to solve the murder of a broken, phoenix-like woman, this is not your movie.

Great story of how we all have the ability to help other human beings where ever we find ourselves. Despite differences in culture and class, 10 Items or Less shows what community is all about.

This is a dazzling piece of character study, set to a breezy, charming tone. The movie is nearly perfect with Morgan Freeman and Paz Vega giving spectacular and touching performances. After the movie was over I thought I actuall knew everything about these charecters like they were my own friends and family. Excellent movie!
