If you liked the Elizabeth movie starring Cate Blanchett you will like this one. I liked this one much more than the Cate Blanchett movie. The story is more in depth and tells of her life all the way to her death. You will fall in love with this portrayal of Elizabeth. Although educatation about a historical period is not the purpose of the movie, you cannot help but learn. I have never heard of the actress playing Elizabeth, Anne-Marie Duff, but she is an outstanding actress. It's a shame hollywood has not recognized her...in comparison to her, most actresses are mediocre.
