With her usual air of confidence (which, also as usual, is backed up by nothing!), Lucy (Lucille Ball) promises to get tickets for herself and her kids to attend a taping of The Danny Kaye Show. Come the night of the taping, however, and there isn't a ticket to be found. In despair, Lucy pleads her case to Danny Kaye himself, whereupon he arranges for the Carmichaels and the Bagleys to appear as extras on his show. Since the print ads for this episode show Danny Kaye and Lucille Ball performing a dance duet, one can conclude that Lucy doesn't remain a mere extra for long! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
