Sort of a cross between A Christmas Carol and Groundhog Day. The Scroogish "hero" keeps dying and being resurrected in order to get it right and learn the true meaning of Christmas--it is not presents or wealth that matters, it is family and love. Instead of four ghosts (you have to include Marley, after all) there is only one and she doesn't so much guide as give hints. This may not be the greatest Christmas movie ever made, but it is a nice variation on the endless retellings of the Dickens classic.

Don't waste your time. Not a very good movie.

This was a cute mixture of Dickens and Groundhog Day. I liked it, but I don't think it is really appropriate for under 13 because of some of the conflicts in the main character's life. It isn't that they show much, but his relationships and priorities are OBVIOUSLY out of whack (since that is the whole premise of the movie).
