I am giving this 3 and a half stars as I felt that the overall movie was more than good for its genre, however there were parts where the special effects were a total laugh... I also felt that although the storyline was a good one, there were a couple of spots where it was clearly lame. Overall the movie was fast paced and intriguing. Wes Craven did well on this one and I am hoping to see a Dracula IV.

I like Jason London in just about any movie, a good actor. I liked the Special Features that sort of give you a story line to follow - the movie was worth watching though a bit long, a decent ending.

Wes Craven did such a good job with the first two movies I have no clue how he screwed up so badly here. Most of the cast from the Ascension movie comes back with the addition of Rutgar Hauer. One or two scenes were really out of line and lame. But what really ticks me off is the ending.** Spoiler** I don't know if it sets up for a sequel with Jason Lee as the new Vampire killer, I guess we will just have to see.
