This movie was not great, it was barely good. However, it was fun, one of the very few films made in the Dominican Republic. I most enjoyed the pick up shots of the city and the small towns. in case your wondering what this film is about: An out of work and loveless man in his late 30's, who still lives with his overprotective mother accidentally lands a job as an executive in a huge firm. He becomes very successful, popular and admired although he is not the man people think he is. The character is a loveable goof-ball who eventually meets a woman that he may or may not fall in love with. The film quality is a bit grainy and the acting is not very strong. I still recommend this film as it is entertaining and it also represents the beginning of a new countrys cinema history. as more films are produced in santo domingo, this will undoubtedly become some kind of classic. adults will appreciate the fun but for kids it is sure to be hilarious.
