I was suprised, but I loved this movie. It was a great movie about friendship, love and romance.

I expected to be entertained, and I was. What a cast! The fabulous Robert Carlyle was superb as usual. True enough, as some have said, it is not a really exciting movie. It is not a thrill ride. Your teenager will hate it. It's a truly unusual movie for people with a bit of maturity and patience. I suggest having some tissue ready - there are several very emotional moments - high and low. I found it an interesting tale and thought the movie was very well done, technically. I watched it three times and enjoyed it every time. You may not love it, but if you appreciate movies that defy typicality - it is absolutely worth your time to give it a chance!

This movie is sad, quirky and nice as even if the characters do wrong, they come back and apologize and do the right thing! Never see that any more!
