It's an 80's movie, not very timeless unless you can get past the music. I saw this as a kid and was compelled to rent it again in order to see if I remembered it correctly. It was still fun 20-some years later. A good cast where Cryer does a really good job, Lynn Redgrave is perfect as the mother and Paul Gleason... well, it's Paul Gleason for crying out loud, nobody plays a heel better. The "A-Team-esque" ending always sort of threw me and still does but all in all a good movie for your 80's night film festival.

Another 80's classic. It's great being able to see my favorites, again after all these years.
