Member Rating:
Directed by the prolific Rob Zombie, The Devil's Rejects is a sequel of sorts to 2003's House of 1000 Corpses, and picks up several weeks after House left off. This time, the clash revolves around the tribe of violent lunatics and decidedly valueless family members of the original film, who have come to be known as the "Devil's Rejects." After learning of the extended family's horrific attacks, a SWAT team is sent to take them into custody; all but their crazed Mama escape. In addition to creating a full-fledged media circus, this sends the sociopath housemates on the run, and they initiate a deadly road trip. Meanwhile, Mama has to deal with a violent, vengeful sheriff (William Forsythe). The Devil's Rejects features Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Sheri Moon, Michael Berryman, and Ken Foree, among other cult horror regulars. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi

If you didn't get the fact that this is a parody of sorts, and is INTENTIONALLY over-the-top, that is your own fault. This movie is not for everybody, but it is very successful in what it attempts to do which is pay homage to the exploitation films of the 70's (much like Tarantino and Rodriguez's Grindhouse Double Feature attempted to do). This film is not for everybody, as (almost exactly) half of these reviews will demonstrate. You will either love it, or you will hate it.

Best horror film in years. Most can't handle this type of film, but if you like gore and twisted fun then this is your movie. A masterpiece.

I love how different all these reviews are. You can very much tell who the real horror fans are here. I am an absolute, true horror movie fanatic. This movie is sick, twisted, and disgusting, which is everything a TRUE horror fan wants to see. If you are easily freaked out, or offended by sadistic material than please dont waste your time watching this or House of 1000 corpses. Do all the true horror fans a favor and leave your reviews on the pg 13 hollywood blockbusters. If you LOVE horror/ films, watch this movie, but not without watching House of 1000 corpses first. Rob Zombie is doing a fantatstic job.
