This movie is alright, but it is pretty slow. This is more of a movie for young teenagers I think, really not that scary. I was afraid of Freddy Krueger and Chucky when I was a kid, not of the boogeyman. Basically the whole movie is about facing your fears before they destroy you. And anything that you were afraid of as a child, when you were in the dark, are the weapons that can be used against you by the Boogeyman. But learn how to not fear them and use that against him and you can stop the Boogeyman. Underlining message of the movie, FACE YOUR FEARS. Still not a horrible movie and I am going to check out the second one to see if it is any better. I recommend it as a one time watch for anyone in your family that is above 11.

Surprisingly good. A cut above the normal "slasher"horror films.

Boogeyman will keep you on the edge of your seat, it's a great movie. A lot of members gave it 1-2 stars they must of got it mix up with something else that they were watching, because they couldn't of been watching this movie. Great acting a lot of action right at the start.
