This movie was a little hard to follow, but still enjoyable.

I am a big fan of the An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, so naturally I was interested to this earlier version of the same story. While they are very similar (almost identical in script and, in some places, action) this version lacked the chemistry, flow and genuine sentiment of An Affair to Remember. I certainly enjoyed Charles Boyer, but if I had seen this version first I would not consider it one of my favorites, nor would I have bought it. Still, it's much better than the horror that Annette Benning and Warren Beatty created together.

Wonderful movie for the first version, but can be a bit boring, but if you enjoy old movies, then you will like it. If your wanting to see the remake, then you have to see AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER....a must if you love romance...it's wonderful.
