Master and Commander, Mutiny on the Bounty, Horatio Hornblower this is NOT. I Remember Nelson is a tedious drawing room drama with low production values and endless speeches by stoney actors. No sea battles. Not worth your time.

There are 4 stories about Nelson (2 per disc) told from 4 different points of view: his abandoned wife, the husband of his mistress, his ship's captain, and a common British Navy recruit who fought on Nelson's ship at Trafalgar. Each helps to paint a picture of the brilliant but flawed English hero. Probably only interesting for history buffs as a period piece. The last hour gives a detailed, gritty and horrific picture of a sea battle below deck.

This is truly horrible. I can only imagine film historians being interested.
