This is a very touching and well acted movie. Larroquette is an excellent actor and Braun plays his part very well.

I thought this movie had truly great performances. Was a good show of the struggles of those with mental illness -- with sympathy & good will not only shown towards the father who suffers from severe depression - but for his son and family as well who must struggle along with him in their own ways. John Larroquette does a wonderful job in his role as the widower and father of a teenage son. He is suffering from depression and suffers a break-down and struggles to regain his life so that he can be a father to his son. Not overly sweetened - not overly crass - just factual and true and a well done little film.
