In this independent comedy, three buddies who have been sharing their thoughts on love and sex suddenly find that that's not all they're sharing. Stylish stockbroker Brad (Brian Van Holt), bohemian hipster Zeke (Zorie Barber), and socially inept Jonathan (Jonathan Abrahams) get together with their married friend Eric (Judah Domke) every Sunday at the same coffee shop to discuss whatever is on their minds -- which usually turns out to be women. While most weeks the conversation quickly turns to a crude exchange of views on "the art of seduction," one Sunday Brad, Zeke, and Jonathan all have the same remarkable bit of news for Eric: They've fallen in love. After comparing notes, however, they realize that they are all in love with the same woman, Mia (Amanda Peet). Whipped was the feature debut for writer and director Peter M. Cohen. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

I'm a girl. I absolutely loved this movie. Because I took the entire thing as a joke. The guys are supposed to be over the top stereotypes coming from 3 different walks of life and how they "play" girls--talking about their game. Their "game" is the funniest thing I have ever seen! If you don't take this movie too seriously, and just be prepared for some male conquest stories (which I've always found to be entertaining), you'll like it. But if you are easily offended and looking for a romantic comedy, this is not your movie. It's pretty crude humor.

The movie is simply a montage of three guys talking sex including every crude and lewd phrase and fetish available. If you get kicks out of bad language and lots of "night after" sex lies, then this will be your type of movie. I'll admit we returned it after watching about 1/3 of the way through. Doubt it got any better after that.

With Amanda Peet we thought it would be cute. It wasn't. Totally unnecessary bad language. We turned it off after 20 minutes.
