Touching exploration of the viscitudes (and viscosity) of life. A captivating exploration of the decisions people make.

This is another sappy, Hong Kong / British handover story containing simple minded dialogue. You might see this type of production quality and melodrama on a Hong Kong TV movie of the week. The acting and directing was slightly better than your average TV show. Despite his excellent command of the English language, Daniel Wu's frequent mixing of Cantonese and English was irritating. Surprisingly, Shu Qi's acting performance was good and fit her character well. Despite being output in Dolby Digital 5.1, the audio came across as mostly stereo. As for extras, there's a "Stars' Files" option containing filmographies for three of the actors. Not recommended.
