This isn't a typical Van Damme movie, so keep that in mind. He plays a French boxer who joins the French Foreign Legion to escape some managerial problems. While in the legion, he fights in Morocco with an American and Brit. Overall, I always thought this movie was really great. It's more of a drama than an action movie, but there are several shoot outs and a couple of hand to hand fights. I recommend it to everyone who asks about a good Van Damme movie!

Bad script.. even worse acting. Van Damme is smart enough to have people who are as equally inept at acting as he is to work with him. He owes his movie career to his great body.
