Synopsis of Chernoe i Beloe
In this independently produced film directed by a film-school instructor at NYU, a young woman immigrant leaves an abusive relationship with her boyfriend only to be taken advantage of by an unscrupulous landlord who uses her as a prostitute when she is unable to come up with the rent money.
