Eileen Is A Spy (1998)

Eileen Is A Spy (1998)
In this whimsical comedy-drama, Eileen (Tami Hinz) buries roadkill and spies on various residents of a small Minnesota town, jotting down her observations and occasionally employing a camera and a tape recorder, perhaps hoping to somehow dive into the stream of human affairs. This happens when she meets the more aggressive Jayne (Beth Gilleland), but Eileen's inability to deal with true intimacy creates obstacles and barriers in their relationship. Real-life audio interviews with 15 women, discussing their sexual experiences and their families, are incorporated into this black-and-white feature, the directorial debut of Sayer Frey. Shown at the 1998 San Francisco Bi Film Festival. ~ Bhob Stewart, Rovi
