This movie was better than the first Universal Soldier, but not by an extreme amount. It was more action packed and I liked that they used Michael Jai White as the the voice of S.E.T.H. and the Ultimate Soldier. Great fight scene at the end with Jean-Claude and White. I did see 2 flaws with this movie though. 1) Why didn't anyone shoot the soldiers in the head? It would have destroyed the brain along with the chip implant, hence rendering the soldier incapable. And then 2) Why didn't they drop a bomb that had a small EMP blast, that would have shut down all the computers in that area and S.E.T.H. would have been destroyed. But then again, I guess that would have made the movie to short and not as good. Other than that, it is a decent watch. Be warned though, it is another movie about a computer that changes it's program to stop it's own demise. If you liked the first one, you will probably like this one.

The Army Rangers were poorly represented in this movie, to say the least. You have to toss reality to the side and just enjoy the action sequences. Would not watch it again. BTW, the tough educated woman that hates the military and questions authority routine is getting sooo old.
