The game finds players marooned on a mysterious island after their blimp crash lands, and the only way to get back in the air is to explore the 3D settings and recover important parts by taking on more than 150 math, reading, and critical thinking exercises. The Wii Balance Board can be used for most of the exercises, and gamers receive feedback and motivation from Michaels as they perform swing kicks, jumping jacks, push-ups, side lunges, and more. Motion controls have been recalibrated to more accurately track user movements, while the new "Resolutions" mode lets players customize a workout schedule up to six month in advance. My Word Coach, part of Ubisoft's lineup of casual-friendly titles with an educational twist, is a series of spelling and vocabulary building exercises in the spirit of Nintendo's Brain Age. Using the Wii Remote, players are challenged to complete six spelling and word-recognition activities as quickly as possible. Players will input missing letters from words, spell out the answers to various definitions, choose which word matches a particular definition, form specific words with Scrabble-like tiles, and more. Players are encouraged to revisit My Word Coach on a daily basis to reinforce their memory and improve their overall ranking. Three levels of difficulty are available, and the game includes a built-in dictionary of over 17,000 words.
