Musician Laurence Juber explains the intricacies of DADGAD guitar tuning, a style long favored by Celtic-style guitarists. Harmonies, chord shapes, and notes of a different variety are discovered through this method, adding depth to standard arrangements of songs like "Danny Boy." Juber demonstrates the method by performing his compositions "Silhouette in A Minor" and "Fountain Jumping," the latter sounding like ragtime in all its energy and possibilities. To quote Juber, this video "gives us a different angle on the guitar -- a different standard tuning." ~ Leslie Birdwell, Rovi
