Lisa Zane is the older sister of actor Billy Zane, with whom she co-starred in the 1990 film Femme Fatale. On her own, Lisa has racked up an impressive list of movie and (especially) TV credits. She first gained a following in the guest-star role of Melinda Paros in the popular series L.A. Law, a part that matriculated into a weekly assignment during the 1993-1994 season. Spun off from the Emmy-winning TV miniseries of the same name (which in turn was based on a series of children's novel by James Gurney) , the weekly ABC fantasy-adventure series Dinotopia picked up where its predecessor left off, albeit with an entirely new cast. Stranded in an idyllic lost land where humans and dinosaurs co-exist, millionaire Frank Scott (Michael Brandon) and his hunky sons Karl (Erik Von Deeten) and David (Shiloh Strong) do their best to acclimate themselves to their new home -- and to console themselves with the fact that they can never leave. As Karl and David compete for the attentions of Marion Waldo (Georgina Rylance), the attractive future leader of Dinotopia, both boys also become entangled in the activities of The Outsiders, a group of political insurgents led by another dazzlingly beautiful woman named Le Sage (Lisa Zane). Originally slated to debut on October 10, 2002, Dinotopia ultimately aired on November 28 of that year, reportedly because of technical problems surrounding the series' computer-generated Tyrannosaurs, Pteranodons and other dinosaurs. ~ All Movie Guide

This feverishly energetic comedy combines stop-motion animation and live action from director Henry Selick, creator of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and James and the Giant Peach (1996). Brendan Fraser stars as Stu Miley, a cartoonist who created a randy monkey character called Monkeybone that has taken off in popularity, making him a celebrity. Stu's set to launch a TV series based on Monkeybone and marry his beautiful fiancée Julie (Bridget Fonda) when he's injured in a freak accident that puts him in a coma. He travels to Dark Town, a holding area for the comatose who wait to either regain consciousness or move on to the afterlife with the help of Death (Whoopi Goldberg). Dark Town is also a realm where fictional characters reside and before long Stu has met the vulgar Monkeybone, who travels back to the land of the living to inhabit Stu's body. Aided by Kitty (Rose McGowan), Stu must find a way to reclaim his body and put Monkeybone back in his place before the raunchy primate ruins his charmed life. Based on Atticus, a novel by Ron Hansen, this Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation stars James Coburn as widowed Colorado rancher Atticus Cody. In the months since Atticus' wife was killed in a car accident caused by his artist son Scott (Paul Kersey), the boy has ached for his father's forgiveness. Alas, though he still loves his son, Atticus is by nature taciturn and distant, and is unable to reach out to the grieving Scott. Upon discovering that his father has kept the wreckage of the "death car" on his ranch, the confused Scott decides that no closure is possible, whereupon he returns to the dusty Mexican village that has long been his home. Later, Atticus receives word that Scott has committed suicide--and upon arriving in Mexico, it is his turn to suffer the pangs of guilt, thanks to the relentless remonstrations of Scott's girlfriend Renata (Lisa Zane). But nothing is quite what Renata makes it out to be, as Atticus discovers to his astonishment upon hearing a cache of "audio letters" recorded by Scott just before his death. In a real change-of-pace role, Barbara Mandrell is cast as Texas widow Ruth Wagner, the mother of Leslie Wanger (Tracey Gold), who is expecting a baby of her own. Both mother and daughter are plunged into despair when Leslie's infant son is kidnapped, almost literally from the womb, by ex-prostitute Karen (Lisa Zane), who desperately hopes that her "instant" family will prevent her drug-dealing husband Cody (William Moses) from tossing her back on the street. Adding to the burden of the Wagner family is the fact that Ruth is suffering from a heart condition that could snuff her out at any moment. A couple's jealousy and infidelity turns violent, with another man caught in the middle, in this adult-themed thriller. Ruth (Rebecca DeMornay) and Matt (Michael Rooker) do not have the healthiest relationship of any married couple you might meet. While their sexual passion for each other runs strong, they also have just as deep a reserve of murderous hatred; Matt keeps hiding his gun in different parts of the house in case he feels like using it against his wife, and Ruth keeps setting up complicated booby traps to kill Matt that don't ever work quite right. Matt's job selling pharmaceuticals to veterinary hospitals keeps him on the road much of the time, but what Ruth doesn't know is that Matt has other reasons for being away -- Matt has another wife in a small town in the country, and he shuttles back and forth between his two families with neither knowing of the other's existence. Ruth, in an effort to simultaneously punish Matt and make him jealous, turns her attentions to Tom (Mark Rolston), her next door neighbor, and she soon snares him in a dangerous web of sexual gamesmanship. A young employee of a large corporation (William R. Moses) finds out that a fellow employee has been stealing money from the company. He informs his superiors of the man's embezzlement, which results in the embezzler killing his wife and his son, then shooting himself. The embezzler's daughter, a nurse, vows vengeance on the man she holds responsible for the deaths.
