The small New Jersey seaside community of Point Pleasant would never be the same after Christina Nickson (Elisabeth Harnois) was saved from drowning in the ocean by handsome lifeguard Jesse Parker (Sam Page). Evidently with no relatives of her own, Christina was taken in by local doctor Ben Kramer (Richard Burgi) and his wife, Meg (Susan Walters), and became best friends with the Kramers' daughter, Judy (Aubrey Dollar). What no one in town could have possibly suspected was that Christina was the daughter of Satan himself -- nor did Christina tumble to her heritage, even when weird and terrible things happened all around her whenever she became angry, frightened, or confused. As she searched for her biological mother, a "mortal" who by a remarkable coincidence had been born in Point Pleasant, her movements were carefully monitored by her demonic dad, who was laying the groundwork for an apocalyptic battle between good and evil. Among the other residents of Point Pleasant were Terry Burke (Brent Weber), Jesse's best friend; Paula Hargrove (Cameron Richardson), Jesse's possessive girlfriend, for whom Terry lusted in his heart; Paula's libidinous mother, Amber Hargrove (Dina Meyer); and last but far from least, Lucas Boyd (Grant Show), a mysterious stranger who arrived in town just after Christina moved in with the Kramers. Co-created by Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and John McLaughlin, Point Pleasant debuted January 19, 2005, on the FOX network. You can take a spy out of the cold war, but you can't take the cold war out of the spy in this satiric TV situation comedy. Kennedy Smith (Linden Ashby) is an American espionage agent who for years has been locked in a life-and-death struggle with his nemesis, Kreigman (Damian Young). Smith, however, figures he's had as much cloak-and-daggering as a man can take, and decides to give up his life as a spy to settle into a quiet life in the suburbs with his wife Lily (Susan Walters). But Kreigman isn't about to give up on making Smith's life a living Hell, even if he has to do it on his own time; Kreigman and his partner-in-crime Barbara Bush (Tara Rosling) move in next door to Kennedy and Lily, and soon the war of wills is being waged in the land of crabgrass and barbecues. This updated remake of the 1958 sci-fi cult classic I Married a Monster from Outer Space closely adheres to the same basic plotline as the original. On the eve of his wedding to Kelly Drummond (Susan Walters), good ol' boy Nick Farrell (Richard Burgi) wanders into the woods, where he is promptly abducted by aliens. Despite this ordeal, Nick shows up at the church on time and the wedding proceeds. But Kelly cannot help but notice that there is something "different" about her husband. Whereas previously all Nick cared about was drinking and carousing with his buddies, now he is serious, well-spoken, and curiously insistent that he and Kelly begin making babies as soon as possible. When all of Nick's drinking companions undergo similar character transformations, it becomes obvious to Kelly that the man she married isn't the man she intended to marry, but instead the "host" for an impending invasion from beyond.. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Texas Justice stars Peter Strauss as Cullen Davis, a millionaire businessman who falls in love with the tempestuous, lower-class Priscilla (Heather Locklear), a young woman with a checkered past and a temper to match. This technically polished debut feature follows a young Los Angeleno's descent into madness and journey back again. As the film opens, he is wearing a tuxedo and is walking zombie-like through the Mojave Desert. In mock-documentary style, his relatives recount how he went wonky on the day he was to have gotten married. His relatives all believe he was killed on that day by being on an Air Force target practice field when guns and rockets were firing. Meanwhile, he is encountering one eccentric desert dweller after another, including an Eastern European woman who seems to believe that the fastest way to stardom is to sleep with every willing man in the state of California who crosses her path. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

It was axiomatic back in the 1980s that, if you put the name "Elvis" in the title of your made-for-TV movie, your ratings would go through the roof. Such was the case of the two-part Elvis and Me, which not only cleaned up in the ratings, but also earned a TV Guide cover (the week , before it aired!) Based on the reminiscences of Elvis' wife Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, the film stars Susan Walters as Priscilla and Dale Midkiff as The King. In Part One, 14-year-old army brat Priscilla meets Elvis while he's doing his military duty in Germany. Their courtship is sporadic at best, but when Priscilla visits Presley in Hollywood in 1962, the story really gets going.
