Murphy's past comes back to bite her as the "FYI" crew prepares to cover the 1996 Presidential election. A support group consisting of all of Murphy's former secretaries--led by Secretary #2, aka Robert (Charley Lang, who was fired in the very first episode--breaks into the studio to hold their ex-boss hostage. Now Murphy must plead her case before 86 different people (some of them VERY different) who would just as soon see her sleeping with the fishes. (The official cast list for this episode identifies several of the former secretaries by their now-famous character flaws: the "mimicker", the "slow speaker", the "Hitler", the "wrestler," and on into the night!) ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

In the original Video Violence...When Renting is Not Enough, a bunch of slasher-film freaks began shooting their own movies, with real killings and buckets of blood abounding. Video Violence, Part 2...The Exploitation takes this premise to the next logical plateau. Two basket cases (Bart Sumner and Lee Miller) somehow manage to set up their own cable-TV service. To satisfy their nutzoid fans, the boys invite guests on their programs, then dice and slice the visitors in as messy a manner as traffic will allow. Gee...what do they do during "sweeps week?" ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

As can be gathered by the title, Video Violence...When Renting is Not Enough is not so much an exploitation flick as a spoof of that genre. A video-store owner (Art Neill) finds that his customers aren't satisfied with the R-rated violent offerings in his store. But somehow, they've managed to find gratification elsewhere. Playing detective, the owner learns that several of his customers have begun filming their own splatter flicks...or should we say "snuff films"? Amusing in a sick sort of way, Video Violence apparently struck the right chord with its target audience, else why would we have been treated to Video Violence, Part 2...The Exploitation! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
