Two honest men discover how high the stakes can be when they turn against the law in this thriller. The mythical, urban-legendary "men in black" make a lower-rent appearance here than in the movie of the same name. Jack Scalia stars as Rafferty, a secret service agent whose impressive marksmanship and survival skills are not enough to save a California senator from an assassination at the hands of some mysterious, otherworldly men clad in black. The killers are aliens disguised as human beings, working as an advanced force for their race, which intends to conquer Earth. A handful of humans knows about the aliens' invasion plot and that the killers have been sent to eliminate those who know -- and silence those who suspect -- the truth. Enter Comdor (Dennis Christopher), an eccentric, New Age sort of alien from a different intergalactic species, sent to Earth in an effort to help the humans defeat the space menace. Comdor teams up with Rafferty, who discovers that his new partner has a purpose in pursuing the villains that goes deeper than a simple quest for justice -- they are responsible for the death of his family. The duo's quest takes them into blazing gun battles, a freeway chase, and a goofy UFO convention, leading up to a brutal final confrontation. ~ Karl Williams, All Movie Guide

This science fiction yarn from Richard Pepin and Joseph Merhi revolves around the crash-landing of a space shuttle bearing six astronauts who are returning from a top-secret mission. Mission commander Cutter (Lance Le Gault) puts Capt. Nick Saxon (Jack Scalia) on the case. Saxon was the head of the last Aquarius mission, which also failed, and his wife, Debbie (Donna W. Scott), is one of the crewmembers this time around. The crew has been infected with something very strange, evidenced when the astronauts break out of the shuttle and their leader, Joe (Jonathan Banks), punches his fist clean through a guard's chest. After his eyes turn a mysteriously cattish yellow he tells his former best-buddy Nick, "It doesn't matter! None of your pathetic little lives matter anymore!" and throws him from a speeding truck before beating a hasty retreat with his super-human crew. The truth of the matter is that the astronauts are being controlled by space parasites that need to find their egg canisters to hatch a race of monsters and destroy the world. Debbie, the sole exception, is being controlled by a female "watcher" named Sabidra, who explains that her people are actually a "race with their faces to the sun" and that she will destroy the Dark Breed. There's also a government conspiracy, involving Cutter, who orders everyone "terminated with extreme prejudice." Numerous highly flammable items get blown up with bazookas and Joe morphs naked into a big slimy monster before Nick blows everything up and gets to run in slow motion ahead of a big fireball. ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide

Forced into a bank vault during an armed robbery, Monica (Roma Downey) is trapped therein by an earthquake, along with bank president Max Chamberlain (Jack Scalia) and pregnant bank officer Alison Craig (Lisa Jane Persky). It turns out that the holdup man is Alison's husband Jackson Spears (Lisa Jane Persky), who had intended to get even with Chamberlain for his shady financial finagling. Technology runs amuck when an elite squad of police cyborgs turn on their masters in director Richard Pepin's action-packed sci-fi thriller. The future is now, and in order to minimize human casualties on the dangerous city streets, scientists have created a team lifelike androids that have been specially trained to do man's dirty work. Nicknamed the T-Force, these unstoppable humanoids are frequently sent to capture criminals who wouldn't hesitate to kill a flesh-and-blood cop. When the T-Force goes too far and shoots down a terrorist helicopter with six hostages on board, officials quickly decide to pull the plug on the project. The only problem is, the T-Force doesn't want to be shut down, and they have programmed themselves into extreme self-preservation mode as a precautionary safety measure. There is one lone cyborg who resisted the uprising though, and his name is Cain. When Lt. It seems to Scalia that the whole event has been staged as part of a large-scale fraud. The principal suspect is onetime fashion model Bo Derek, the victim's much-younger wife. Despite his seen-it-all veneer, Scalia finds it difficult to maintain objectivity when he falls in love with Bo. Based on a true event, this is the account of the Buttafuoco couple, whose names were splattered all over the media in the early '90s after the alleged teen-aged playmate of Mr. B., Amy Fischer (who claimed it was Mr. B's will), shot Mrs. B in the head (though the latter miraculously lived). This particular perspective claims that Amy acted of her own free will and Mr. B never had an affair with her (only vaguely flirted) nor did he in any way encourage her to make an attack on his wife.
