When an escaped convict is discovered hiding in a barn by two young children, he convinces the kids that he is a ghost while learning an important lesson in paying penance for his crimes. Witt Hampton was a convicted embezzler sentenced to year behind bars for his greedy transgressions. Eventually, Witt grows tired of prison life and stages a daring escape. Later, while seeking refuge in an old barn, Witt is discovered by two young boys. In order to avoid being sent back up the river, the frightened convict convinces the kids that he is actually a friendly ghost, and soon joins them on a series of fantastic adventures. Gradually, the once unrepentant criminal becomes inspired by the innocence of the children he has befriended, making a pledge to redeem himself before making the inevitable trip back to the big house. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Julia (Jenny McCarthy) and Jack (Matt Keeslar) are exes who have grown blind to the fact that they're head over heels in love. Though on the surface it appears as if their relationship has failed, these two co-workers still bicker like a couple that's been together for decades. One day, as Jack looks after a golfer suffering from amnesia, divine intervention ensues. It seems that the elderly golfer is actually God in disguise. The creator is taking an earthly vacation, and once he learns about a certain troubled young couple he makes it his holy mission to help them rekindle the romance. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Gypsy Angels stars Wheel of Fortune's Vanna White -- sort of. The title characters are a group of Atlanta-based stunt pilots in search of adventure and romance. What they find is several impressively constructed stripteasers. Most of the film -- including White's fleeting topless scenes -- was culled from a long-shelved action flick made sometime in the early 1980s. The name of "Alan Smithee" in the director's credits is a dead giveaway that the genuine director (or directors) had no wish to be associated with this T&A pastiche. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
In this deplorable Howard Avedis film masquerading as a horror flic, Dianne Stevens (Sybil Danning) is an English professor who seduces one of her students (Eric Brown) and then brings him into a plot hatched by herself and her husband (Andrew Prine) to get their hands on a few million that now belong to the husband's mother and grandmother. Before the first peg is in place, a masked nutcase starts killing off the cast of characters, perhaps with the thought of putting this vapid movie out of its misery and going home early. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
- Starring:
- Sybil Danning, Eric Brown, (more)
