Beijing Film Academy alum Wang Jing makes her feature directorial debut with this adolescent drama centering on the experiences of several sixteen year old as they begin to realize their ambitions, accept disappointment, reel from betrayal, rely on loyalty, and take the time to celebrate life's fleeting moments of happiness. In addition to exploring the ways in which even the most minor anecdotes can seem profound to the average teen, Jing highlights the links between these artificially-inflated anecdotes and the more weighty drama of the adult world.
