A group of ambitious film-school graduates plot to get their big break in Hollywood by becoming the very thing they most despise in this satirical showbiz comedy from writer/director Steve Morris. Three years after graduating from film school, Jack and his friends are still answering phones when they should be making movies. After jokingly whipping up some script coverage for a nonexistent screenplay, the hungry Hollywood underlings are horrified to learn that Jack's boss has somehow come into possession of the piece. Now the time has come to put up or shut up, so with their jobs on the line and their futures wide open the gang plots to turn their phony script coverage into a major feature. Unfortunately, getting the green light in Hollywood is never easy, and it doesn't take the gang long to realize that in order to get their film on the fast track to production, they'll need to become just as ruthless and uncompromising as the callous producers who have made their lives in L.A. a living hell. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Set against the anti-war protests, rock & roll revolution, and mind-expanding psychedelia of the 1960s, Julie Taymor's hallucinogenic musical follows the arduous journey of star-crossed lovers Jude (Jim Sturgess) and Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood) as they and a small group of musicians are swept up in the raging waters of the volatile counterculture movement. Guided through their journey by a pair known only as Dr. Robert (Bono) and Mr. Kite (Eddie Izzard), Jude and Lucy are eventually forced to find their way back to one another after being split apart by powerful forces beyond their control. The music in the film consists exclusively of songs made popular by the Beatles during the time period depicted in the movie. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
