This episode is a spoof of a famous "sweatshop" scandal involving the franchised consumer products of a certain popular female TV talkshow host (are we being obscure enough here?) In their efforts to win a huge raise, Al (Ed O'Neill) and Griff (Harold Sylvester) resort to blackmail when they discover that their boss Gary is using illegal aliens to manufacture her shoes. Unfortunately, the plan fizzles (despite an extended takeoff of the Mission: Impossible films), and Al's son Bud (David Faustino) ends up atoning for his dad's sins. Meanwhile, Peggy (Katey Sagal) goes to elaborate lengths to hide the fact that she's bought a microwave. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

It's "mano y mouso" when the Bundy household is invaded by a persistent rodent. Too proud to call in a professional exterminator, Al (Ed O'Neill) vows to get rid of the mouse himself, donning "Rambo" gear for just that purpose--and nearly destroying the house in the process. Watch for a neat "inside" reference to Mike Semon, the series' real-life property master. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

A disgruntled enemy manages to handcuff Dan (John Larroquette) to a briefcase full of TNT. Now Dan has only thirty minutes to find out who his enemy is and to free himself--and in the process, the Night Court staff learns for the first time that their "favorite" prosecutor's real name is Reinhold Elmore! Elsewhere, Bull blindfolds himself in order to empathize with Harry's sightless--and extremely obnoxious--assistant Joy (Elayne Boosler). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
