A high school senior and his friends invent a time machine so that future generations of students won't have to endure some of the more preventable adolescent pains, only to find that they have inadvertently opened a black hole in the process. Virgil (Jason Dolley) and his pals are determined to make life a little easier for the less popular students in their high school, and in order to make that happen they create a time machine. But strange things can happen when you go messing with the laws of physics, and when Virgil and friends open a black hole they find that turning back the clock can have messy repercussions. Sci-fi and comedy elements combine in a Disney Channel Original Movie that's fun for the entire family. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Having lived a sheltered childhood while her absentee parents traveled all over the world, artist Abby Morrison (Shiri Appleby) has developed an extraordinarily vivid imagination, but her grasp on reality is tenuous at best. Now the roommate of Jessica Lindstrom (Alexandra Holden), Abby agrees to tutor Jessica's cousin Quinn (Nick Zano), a selfish and cynical college student. Much to her surprise, Abby is attracted to Quinn, helping him to come out of his shell and develop his own artistic talents. But when it comes to romance, Jessica remains true to her "dream man" Sy (Orlando Seale), who poses for her paintings and shares all of her likes and dislikes -- and whom nobody but Abby has ever seen. Based on a play by Natalie Prado, the made-for-cable Everything You Want premiered April 17, 2005, on the ABC Family Channel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

On the eve of the "Civil Rights Day" celebration in Aynesville, Illinois, Monica (Roma Downey) stumbles across the dead body of an elderly black man, apparently the victim of a hate crime. Over the protests of Sheriff McKinsley (John Ritter) and his black deputy James (Rick Worthy), the organizers of the celebration choose to hush up the murder so as not to spoil the festivities--and for good measure, they order Monica to be locked up in jail "for her own good" until the whole thing blows over. The next morning, Monica awakens to discover that she is no long an angel, but instead a human being...a black human being. The reason for this metamophosis has as much to do with Monica's attitudes towards race as it does with the events of the past few days, but she does not realize this until she meets the celebration's guest of honor, Rosa Parks (playing herself, and appropriately making her first appearance on a bus). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
