The beloved children's book series comes to life in this tale concerning a lonely young girl who adapts to her new life in the city after befriending a particularly friendly mass of incandescent gas. Laura and her family are moving to the city, but with all of Laura's friends back in the country, it seems as if she's going to have to start from scratch when it comes to the prospect of making friends. As fate would have it though, a fallen star descended through the atmosphere and it's now up to Laura to make her bright new friend comfortable on planet Earth.
