A handful of friends reconnect after a decade and discover how much (and how little) they've changed in this comedy-drama from writer and director Jamie Linden. Ten years after graduating from high school, Jake (Channing Tatum) show up at a class reunion with his longtime girlfriend Jess (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) in tow. Jake was planning to finally propose to Jess over the weekend, but he has second thoughts when he sees Mary (Rosario Dawson), his former girlfriend who is now married to an older man (Ron Livingston). Culley (Chris Pratt), once the school bully, has tried to become a better man and tries to apologize to many of the people he picked on years ago, but after a few drinks his behavior becomes unpredictable, much to the annoyance of his wife Sam (Ari Graynor). Reeves (Oscar Isaac) is the group's success story, a singer-songwriter who has recently scored a hit record, but Elise (Kate Mara), the girl he loved in school, not only isn't aware of his fame, she doesn't realize his best known song is about her. Marty (Justin Long) finds his hard-won maturity goes out the window when he and his old pal AJ (Max Minghella) compete for the attention of Anna (Lynn Collins). And Garrity (Brian Geraghty) has cleaned up his act since graduation, and Andre (Anthony Mackie) isn't about to let him forget about the guy he used to be. Just when audiences thought they'd heard the last of the demented killer Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), here comes Saw IV, continuing his trap-filled legacy -- this time, targeting the last remaining officer who has touched the case, SWAT Commander Rigg (Lyriq Bent). As FBI agents Strahm (Scott Patterson) and Perez (Athena Karkanis) begin to dig through the remains of Jigsaw's crime-scene hideout, a new puzzle presents itself, with Rigg as the pawn in another deadly game filled with moral quandaries and torture-filled traps. At stake is the life of his superior officer Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) as well as his friend and fellow cop Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg), whose abduction by a now-dead Jigsaw triggers an obsession in Rigg that will haunt him til the grisly end. A washed-up actor finds an unlikely path back to the big screen in this offbeat family comedy. Bill Williams (Tom Arnold) is an actor whose career has gone into a severe tailspin ever since his brief fling with fame -- a supporting role in the Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle True Lies. Sinking into a well of alcohol and depression, Williams unsuccessfully attempts suicide before his agent (Henry Winkler) tells him he's finally found a project for him. Aaron Roman (Eric Gores) is a teenager with cerebral palsy who loves action movies, especially True Lies. Aaron's father, Davis Roman (Joe Mantegna), is a very wealthy man -- so wealthy that, as a present for his son's 18th birthday, he's going to bankroll a professionally shot action movie which will star Aaron. Would Williams be willing to write and co-star in Aaron's birthday movie? Williams isn't so sure this is a great idea, even with a million-dollar payday, until he meets Aaron. Charmed by the kid's pluck and determination, Williams signs on for the world's most expensive home movie. Williams and producer Susan Mandeville (Linda Hamilton) hire Wayne's World director Penelope Spheeris to helm the project, and persuade bikini model Arielle Kebbel to appear as Aaron's love interest, but what started out as strictly a job-for-hire becomes something more as Williams and his fellow cast and crew members get to know their challenged young star. The Kid & I actually was written by co-star Tom Arnold, and Penelope Spheeris directed the film as well as playing herself.
