The horror film Invitation begins with a sequence that involves an oft-teased overweight boy being killed by a truck as he chases a baseball into the street. The main sections of the film take place 15 years after that event when the people the boy was playing with that tragic day are all invited to a "reunion" party at a secluded cabin.
