In this romantic comedy, two guys who've discovered Age 30 in their rear-view mirror try to unravel the mysteries of life and love in beautiful Saskatchewan. Sam (Michael Goorjian) is a guy in his late 20s who is looking for the woman of his dreams but isn't having much luck. His best friend Jim (David Lovgren) isn't nearly as fussy as Sam; he'll take a chance on any woman that seems moderately attractive, especially ones that Sam has expressed an interest in. Sam likes to pass himself off as a moody intellectual, but this act doesn't get him very far with Kelly (Chandra West), an insurance investigator who seems a bit flaky on the surface but soon works her way into Sam's heart. However, Jim, true to form, has to make a play for her as well. Jennifer Beals appears in a supporting role as a waitress who gives Sam lessons in how to sound deep and pretentious. Something More was shot in 1997, but it didn't emerge from the editing room until 1999 for its initial Canadian release. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Part of ABC's sporadic TV-movie series "Crimes of Passion", I Know What You Did stars Rosanna Arquette as Stacey Keane, a high-profile lawyer who specializes in defending accused rapist. In a prime example of grim irony, Stacey is attacked and sexually assaulted in her own home. Freeing herself from her assailant, Stacey accidentally kills the man, then hides his body. Unfortunately, there was a witness (Lawrence Monoson) to Stacey's desperate act of self-defense. . .and he will remain silent only for a price. The fact that the heroine's fiancé (Steven Eckholdt) is one of the investigating officers only serves to underscore the marked resemblance between this film and Alfred Hitchcock's early talkie Blackmail. I Know What You Did was originally telecast on January 11, 1998. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

A man has a near-death experience and awakens to find himself spiritually attached to another who went through a similar experience in this horror movie. The story is based on a Dean Koontz novel. Hatch Harrison, an antique dealer, finds himself in an extraordinary position following the car wreck in which he was broad-sided by a semi-truck. Although his wife and teenage daughter survive, Hatch was actually dead for two hours before innovative resuscitator Dr. Jonas Nybern was able to bring him back. Hatch tries to resume his normal life, but encounters difficulty when he begins having horrific hallucinations. It turns out that the "visions" are really the experiences of Vassago, a Satanist who ritually kills people. Somehow he and the killer are connected. Vassago, too can experience events in Hatch's life; he begins to threaten Hatch by telling him he will use his daughter for a virgin sacrifice. The two men must battle it out spiritually. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Duncan's Immortal friend, Michael Moore (Geraint Wyn Davies), wants to avenge the murder of his girlfriend that happened 30 years ago. This would seem to be a pointless vendetta, inasmuch the girl's killer, Quenten Barnes, was arrested and put to death for the crime. But Quenten has escaped from his tomb and is busily bumping off everyone responsible for his execution -- with Moore next on his list. This is the situation that, in the end, forces Duncan (Adrian Paul) to make an extremely difficult decision. Philip Akin makes his first series appearance as gym owner Charlie DeSalvo. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
