Laura Prepon and Misha Collins star as the murderous pair whose deplorable crimes sent shock waves of terror rippling across Canada in director Joel Bender's unflinching look at the crimes of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. On the surface Bernardo (Collins) and Homolka (Prepon) were your average everyday Canadian couple; they had a nice house in the suburbs, a dog, lots of friends, and a bright future ahead of them. As Paul is singled out as the prime suspect in a series of particularly vicious rapes and Karla's sister dies under mysterious circumstances, however, a horrifying truth begins to emerge that will lead the pair down a particularly dark path. Could it be that the manipulative murderer used fear and intimidation to keep his wife silent about the reprehensible atrocities he so casually committed without guilt or remorse, or was Karla Homolka in fact an equal partner who simply used her sociopathic power of manipulation to convince authorities that she truly believed she was in mortal danger all along? ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Writer/director Wayne Kramer offers a glimpse into the aging Las Vegas casino world with the romantic drama The Cooler. Bernie Lootz (William H. Macy) is extremely unlucky at gambling, and he owes the Shangri-La casino over 100,000 dollars. He is so unlucky that he is hired as a "cooler," someone to gamble next to high rollers and give them some of his bad luck to stop them from winning. This arrangement works out for awhile, until Bernie has almost paid off his debt and meets cocktail waitress Natalie Belisario (Maria Bello). The two start to fall in love and Bernie's luck begins to change. However, the old-fashioned mob boss Shelly Kaplow (Alec Baldwin) isn't going to let Bernie go so easily. Meanwhile, Larry Sokolov (Ron Livingston) arrives on the scene to help update the business management of the old mobster-run casino. Also starring Joey Fatone and Paul Sorvino as lounge singers. The Cooler was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in the dramatic competition at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi

Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is determined to win Stars Hollow's annual 24-hour dance marathon, if only to stifle the obnoxiousness of perennial champion Kirk (Sean Gunn). With no one else available, Lorelai chooses Rory (Alexis Bledel) as her partner, a gesture which leads to trouble when Rory spots Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and Shane (Jessica Kiper) together at the dance -- and this, in turn, leads to a shocking public outburst by Dean (Jared Padalecki). And elsewhere on the romantic front, Paris (Liza Weil) can't concentrate on an upcoming Chilton social event when her heartthrob Jamie (Brandon Barash) unexpectedly arrives in town. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
