Alex Lyras Movies
The friendship between two men is put to the ultimate test when the girl of their dreams comes between them. Bob (Adrian Martinez) and Eric (Alex Lyras) were roommates when they first came to New York City. Fifteen years later, aspiring writer Bob is a legal aid attorney, and fast-talking Eric is coasting on fumes. When Bob meets gorgeous twenty-two year old Mona (Kristen Lewis) he feels an instant and powerful connection. Mona makes ends meet with a boring temp job, but she hungers to experience the bohemian nightlife that drew her to the city in the first place. When Bob's finances fall though and he's forced to move back in with Eric, things start to get complicated. Eric was only joking when he made a pass at his best friend's girl, but when she responds in kind he has to ask himself which he values more, his friendship with Bob or his budding romance with the bohemian beauty. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Clark Johnson's big-screen adaptation of the 1970s television series S.W.A.T. stars Colin Farrell as Jim Street, a young special weapons and tactics team member who, in the film's opening sequence, is demoted after his hothead partner Jeremy Renner shoots a hostage while trying to kill her captor. In need of good press, the higher-ups call in SWAT expert Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) to put together an elite team that can bring some luster back to the badge. He chooses Street, veteran T.J. (Josh Charles), and tough single mother Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez). The new team survives a series of tests before hitting the streets. Their first big assignment involves transporting an international criminal (Olivier Martinez) to federal authorities. The criminal had offered a hundred million dollars to anyone who can bust him out. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi
