Projects in which Feldman appeared included the 2006 slasher movie Hatchet and the 2007 psychological thriller Perfect Stranger. Crime and retribution take a violent turn on a Native American reservation in this independent drama from writer and director Steven Lewis Simpson. The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota is one of the poorest communities in the United States, and it's where Harmony (Tamara Feldman), a beautiful young woman of Lakota heritage, was born and raised. Harmony has fallen in love with Scott (Trent Ford), a white man from a privileged family who is struggling to make it as a musician. Scott borrowed some money from Jaws (Chris Robinson), a mean-spirited loan shark, and when he ran afoul of the law and spent several weeks in jail, Scott discovered Jaws was waiting for him when he was released, demanding his money with interest. Scott remembers that he stashed some drugs inside his guitar and figures he can sell the dope and use the money to pay off Jaws, but when he heads to Harmony's place at Pine Ridge, he finds both she and their belongings are missing, and he realizes that squaring things with the short-tempered Jaws and his crew won't be easy. When Captain Stottlemeyer's son Jared (John Kyle Hansen) skips school to attend a rock concert, Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) goes to look for the boy amongst thousands of screaming fans, accompanied by Monk (Tony Shalhoub) and Natalie (Traylor Howard). Not unexpectedly, Monk comes face to face with another mysterious death: this time the victim is a roadie named Stork (Terry Fradet), who seems to have O.D.'d on some bad drugs. But another roadie, Kendra (Tamara Feldman), suspects otherwise, and persuades Monk to investigate--and sure enough, Stork was murdered, and the motive turns out to be a song called "Peggy's Gone to Memphis." A handful of college students looking for a good time are thrown into a world of danger in this homage to the slasher film cycle of the 1970s and '80s. Ben (Joel David Moore) has just been given his walking papers by his girlfriend and is deeply depressed. Needing a pick-me-up, Ben and his friend Marcus (Deon Richmond) head to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, and take in a "Haunted Swamp Tour," with master of ceremonies Shawn (Parry Shen) guiding guests through a spooky patch of bayou country. Along the way, Ben and Marcus meet a pair of half-bright exotic dancers, Misty (Mercedes McNab) and Jenna (Joleigh Fioreavanti), as well as Marybeth (Tamara Feldman), a pretty girl who is secretive about her past. As they tour the swamp, Shawn tells his customers about the local legend of Victor Crowley, a deformed man who was taunted by the other children living near the swamp until he was nearly bludgeoned with an axe by his father while trying to open the door of their burning shack. While Ben and Marcus don't think much of the story at first, it doesn't take long before they have serious reason to believe Victor Crowley is still at large -- and is looking to settle some old scores. Clark Kent (Tom Welling) befriends a Native American girl named Kyla Willowbrook (Tamara Feldman). Exploring a cave near Kyla's home, Clark comes across ancient tribal paintings depicting the prophecy of Naman, who like Clark himself descended from the sky with awesome superpowers. While the almost filial relationship between Clark and Kyla is complicated by the possibility that the girl's grandfather (Gordon Tootoosis) is a werewolf-like "skinwalker," Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) plots to use a strange design appearing in the cave paintings for his own economic advantage. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
