Monica (Roma Downey) shows up as a social worker at the Kewanee Women's Correctional Facility, and in this capacity meets Carol (Viveka Davis), who is doing 25-to-Life for murder--but insists she is innocent, and that she has no memory of the night of the killing. Meanwhile, Andrew (John Dye) is hired as hospice nurse for Santos Gonzales (Castulo Guerra), the stern, unforgiving father of the murder victim.
