Mark Tuit wrote and directed this low-budget Canadian horror flick about a race of parasitic humanoids feeding on people. William MacDonald plays Martin, a man bent on stopping the creatures before they destroy the entire human race. He attempts to recruit the efforts of a couple, but they are skeptical of the outlandish claims he makes. Subhuman has also been released as Shelf Life. ~ Matthew Tobey, Rovi
The Andromeda crew is menaced by a group of Nietzcheans, who after a sneak attack take over the ship. With hostages in hand, the intruders make two demands: that the crew turn over Beka's (Lisa Ryder) vessel, the Maru, and also the sacred bones of Drago Museveni. Hoping to save his comrades and play for time until a counterrattack can be mounted, Dylan (Kevin Sorbo) offers to take the hostages' place. But the real danger does not rear its head until Andromeda crew member Tyr Anasazi (Keith Hamilton Cobb), himself a Nietzchean, makes a fateful decision that will radically alter the course of everyone's future. This was the final episode of Andromeda's third season. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
The Kent family brings a teenager whom Martha (Annette O'Toole) accidentally struck with her car into their home. The teen turns out to be lad named Ryan James (Ryan Kelley), who has the power to read minds -- and who was fleeing from his homicidal stepfather at the time of the accident. Ryan's plight is peripherally linked with the efforts made by fertilizer mogul Lionel Luthor (John Glover) to persuade his own son, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), to accept a new job in Metropolis. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
