The most popular starlet in exploitation specialists Seduction Cinema's repertory company, slender young Misty Mundae takes the Lara Croft role in this softcore send-up of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Directed by Brian Paulin, a studio newcomer best-known for his interesting 1998 vampire film At Dawn They Sleep, the film concerns the evil Dr. Humboldt (Esmerelda DeLaRocca), who has kidnapped a professor and his beautiful daughter, Kristen (Darian Caine). Intent on creating a Fourth Reich, Humboldt knows that she needs the magic of ancient Egypt to complete her scheme, and sets out to resurrect the mummy King Thotep to get it. That's when Misty, the two-fisted tomb raider whose thong reads "100% White Trash," steps in to save the day. An unusual blend of action gunplay and lengthy softcore lesbian scenes, Mummy Raider makes up in enthusiasm what it lacks in production values, and should please genre fans. As the feature is only 45 minutes long, however, the DVD also contains the short film My First Female Lover, starring Mundae and DeLarocca and helmed by William Hellfire, who had directed the star in Lust in the Mummy's Tomb the previous year. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi

J.R.R. Tolkien's tales of Middle Earth are given a sexy spoof in this comedy for adults. The wicked Horspank (Paige Richards) has created an enchanted G-String that brings untold power and pleasure to whoever possesses the magical lingerie; Bildo is to obtain the G-String and safely dispose of it. Hornee (Darian Caine) and Spam (A.J. Khan) join Bildo on this life-or-death quest, stopping periodically to enjoy one another's company as they search for the string and try to avoid Ballem (John Link), a hideous creature who desires the G-string beyond all measure. Best known for taking their clothes off in a series of rather disreputable horror films, low-rent "scream queens" Debbie Rochon and Misty Mundae continue their respective slides toward full-tilt porn in this comic softcore offering from Seduction Cinema. Director John Bacchus tries his best to keep things moving in the world of 285 A.D., but is hampered by his budget and a screenplay which only exists to frame various (admittedly very watchable) lesbian encounters. The plot, such as it is, features Darian Caine (who is in almost all of these) as Roman General Eroticus, whose powerful mixture of military cunning and seduction impresses Emperor Gluteus Maximus (Jeffrey Faoro) so much that he wants her to be his successor. That doesn't sit too well with his whiny son, the aptly named Dickus Minimus (John Fedele), who arrests her and leaves her to die. Naturally, she becomes a slave, then fights and sleeps her way back to the top in the gladiatorial arena. Characters are named Clitoris, Orgasmus, and Fellatio, and there's a senator called Tittus Lickus, making one wonder if somebody had seen Monty Python's Life of Brian once too often. Bacchus has been making movies for Seduction for some time, with many of the same cast and crew behind this film, so viewers wanting more should look for Mistress Frankenstein, The Erotic Witch Project, and Play Mate of the Apes, among others. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi

A crate of biologically engineered marijuana spells trouble for a run-down strip club when super-sized roaches take over in director Brett Piper's tale of indestructible insects. When a drug deal gone south finds the infected ganja landing in a strip club that's about to be demolished, an outlaw DEA agent arrives to wipe out the shipment and the mutant creatures that have been feeding on the tainted herb. Real-life sisters Misty Mundae and Chelsea Mundae are cast as sinister siblings in this tense erotic thriller.
