Tapio Piirainen's big-screen adaptation of the popular Finish police drama Raid juggles a complex story line. After his ex-girlfriend is killed in an arson attack on a newspaper, criminal Raid (Kai Lehtinen) is asked by police officer Jansson (Oiva Lohtander) to investigate because Raid has access to undesirables who may know something about the attack, as well as a seemingly political killing.
