Jason Reitman's adaptation of the novel Up in the Air tells the story of Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), who makes his living personally handing out pink slips -- he's the top hatchet man at a company that other companies hire when they are downsizing. And since business is booming, his job keeps him on the go constantly. He flies all across the country, staying in a series of nice hotels. And although this itinerant lifestyle prevents him from having any kind of stable, regular life, this doesn't bother him in the slightest -- he's thrilled to be a boy in a traveling bubble. During one particular layover, he strikes up a conversation with Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga), a fellow savvy traveler. They bond over the ins and outs of various airlines and hotels, and quickly fall into bed. By morning, they are figuring out when their schedules will allow them to meet up again, even though they both make it clear that there are no strings attached. When Ryan arrives back in the home office, he meets no-nonsense career-oriented twentysomething Natalie Keener (Anna Kendrick), a fast-rising up-and-comer who wants to change the company's practices and save millions by having the staff fire people remotely via webcams. Furious at the thought of losing a lifestyle he's grown quite comfortable with, he convinces his boss (Jason Bateman) to let him take Natalie on a few trips so that she can learn what it's really like to fire someone. A teenage girl sets out in search of her missing best friend, a mischief-making flirt who had been recklessly meeting men online, in this thriller featuring Twilight star Anna Kendrick. Sarah (Kendrick) is a straight-A student and popular athlete, and Jillian (Tania Raymonde) is the girl with the reputation that every parent fears most. Yet despite their differences, Sarah and Jillian have been best friends for as far back as either can recall. Both girls long to escape their small town for something more exciting, though it's Jillian who acts first. Shortly after revealing to Sarah that she is searching for a man online to take her someplace new and exciting, Jillian vanishes without a trace. The only clues that Sarah has to her old friend's whereabouts are a journal, and a cryptic video message sent by Jillian just before she disappeared. When Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) reluctantly moved to the perpetually overcast town of Forks, WA, and set out to carve a niche for herself, she assumed it would be one similar to the low-profile social position she held back in Phoenix. James, known for his powerful tracking ability, becomes obsessed with making Bella his next victim. Tony-nominated actor Todd Graff makes his directorial debut with the musical comedy Camp, featuring an ensemble cast of newcomers. Guitarist Vlad (Daniel Letterle) attends Camp Ovation, the summer theater camp for budding actors, dancers, and musicians. Finding himself to be one of the only hetero boys around, he soon befriends nice girl Ellen (Joanna Chilcoat). Meanwhile, openly gay Michael (Robin de Jesus) develops a crush on him. This sparks dramatic confrontations among fellow campers Jenna (Tiffany Taylor), Jill (Alana Allen), and Fritzi (Anna Kendrick). The whole camp is run by Bert Hanley (Don Dixon), a washed-up Broadway songwriter who decides to enlist the help of his young campers to put together a new production. Features musical numbers by Stephen Sondheim and the Rolling Stones, as well as original tunes from composer Michael Gore and lyricist Lynn Ahrens.
