A prudish college freshman finds her prim and proper reputation compromised after she's plied with alcohol by a deceptive classmate and caught baring it all for the popular video series "Chicks Go Crazy." Priscilla White (Jenna Dewan) is a college freshman on an abstinence scholarship. She'd never dream of giving up her virginity before marriage, but when local legend Natalie "The Naz" (Brianne Davis) tricks her into drinking alcohol, Prescilla's inhibitions fly out the window. After exposing herself for the "Girls Go Crazy" cameras, Prescilla realizes she risks losing it all for her one moment of bad judgment, and races to recover the tapes from sleazy producer Ed Kurtzman (Rob Schneider). A gal who needs a date for a family function gets the best man money can buy in this romantic comedy. Kat Ellis (Debra Messing) is a woman in her mid-thirties living in New York City and has had more than her share of romantic problems -- enough so that she's gotten word that her younger half-sister Amy (Amy Adams) is getting married, and that her mother Bunny (Holland Taylor) and father Victor (Peter Egan) want to fix her up with someone so she won't look alone and miserable for the big day. Adding insult to injury, Kat learns that the best man at the ceremony will be Jeffrey (Jeremy Sheffield), a former boyfriend who cruelly dumped her without warning two years before. Determined not to show up alone, Kat swallows her pride and hires Nick Mercer (Dermot Mulroney), a professional escort, who will pose as her boyfriend for a $6,000 fee. Kat and Nick fly to England for the wedding, and her family and friends are all struck by how charming, handsome, and personable Nick is -- and Kat begins wondering if their relationship has to be all business; however, as it turns out, Nick understands Kat far better than she expects. Teen pop star Mandy Moore stars in the romantic comedy How to Deal. Directed by British filmmaker Clare Kilner, the script is based on two of author Sarah Dessen's popular teen novels: Someone Like You and That Summer. Halley (Moore) is a teenager trying to make sense of the faltering romantic relationships within her immediate social sphere. Her mother, Lydia (Allison Janney), can't seem get a date, while her father (Peter Gallagher) is getting remarried to a woman that nobody seems to like. Halley's wedding-obsessed sister, Ashley (Mary Catherine Garrison), is engaged to Lewis (MacKenzie Astin), a guy that is completely wrong for her. Meanwhile, bad boy Macon Forrester (Trent Ford) won't leave Halley alone. In Janice Beard 45 WPM, an eccentric Scottish woman dives headfirst into London's work force, which may or may not be ready for her. Janice (Eileen Walsh) began dealing with an unusual home life from birth; her dad died of a heart attack as she was being born, sending her mother into a funk from which she's never quite recovered. At 23, Janice decides she needs to get a job to help pay for her mother's medical bills, so she puts together a resume and starts looking for work -- never mind that her c.v. is, for the most part, a pack of lies. Janice manages to flub her way into the typing pool of an auto company, where she unexpectedly becomes part of the office intrigues of Sean (Rhys Ifans), an ambitious office assistant.
