Canadian singer Eleanor Collins starred in two separate CBC variety shows, both of which bore her first name as the title. The first version of Eleanor was a 30-minute weekly, telecast between June 19 and September 11, 1955. Collins returned for a second series, this one lasting minutes per program, from February 1 to March 28, 1964. Both editions of Eleanor were produced at the CBC's Vancouver facilities, and both featured the star's longtime accompanist Chris Gage. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
