The Teatro Bellini di Adrano mounted this production of Gaetano Donizetti's 1836 one-act farsa Il Campanello (aka The Night Bell) in December 2009. Directed for the stage by Pietro Ballo, it stars Carlo Torriani as Don Annibale Pistacchio, Luciano Miotto as Enrico, Sachika Ito as SErafina and Michiko Dekita as Madama Rosa. The Orchestra del Teatro Bellini di Adrano lends musical accompaniment under the baton of Francesco Ledda, with Coro N.A.M.A.E. di Acireale lending vocal support and Carmelo Pappalardo serving as chorus master.
