Each episode of UFO Trilogy assumes the existence of UFOs and the existence of an extensive government campaign of misinformation. In each, viewers will dig for evidence and interpret those facts. In this particular tape, viewers travel vicariously to the secret installations on UFO research the government maintains at Groom Lake and Area 51. Close attention is given to the question of whether or not the U.S. has a flying saucer in its possession. ~ Rob Ferrier, Rovi
This video is part two in the three-part One on One on UFOs series that investigates the world of UFOs. Since the mass sighting of flying saucers at Roswell, NM, in 1947, millions of people around the world have reported seeing unidentified flying objects. Stories and artistic depictions of strangers from outer space have existed since ancient times, from Sumeria to Peru. One on One on UFOs: Vol. 2 features a ufologist who sits one on one with people who have seen space ships and aliens to discuss the nature of their encounters. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, Rovi
John Lear is the son of the inventor of the Lear Jet and a former pilot for the CIA and other government agencies. In 1989, he saw a flying object in the Nevada desert near a top-secret area. The UFO Investigator: Flying Saucers -- The Government Coverup is a documentary of his activities and experiences with Bob Lazar, a physicist who was said to have been based at Area 51. Lazar claims to have been part of an effort to develop an alien craft, working from an actual ship hidden from the public. Lear discusses what he feels is a government plot to cover up information regarding these actions. ~ Alice Day, Rovi
