A woman looking for a new purpose in her life finds it in an unexpected place in this comedy drama from Argentina. María del Carmen (María Onetto) is not enjoying her 50th birthday party, in large part because she had to do all the work herself -- her workaholic husband, Juan (Gabriel Goity), loves her but doesn't pay much attention to her, while her two children, Ivan (Julian Doregger) and Juan Pablo (Felipe Villanueva), are old enough to be taking care of themselves and busy with their own lives. María's family did bother to get her a present, a jigsaw puzzle, and as she puts it together she's reminded of how much she enjoys assembling puzzles -- and she's quite good at it. While shopping the next day, María sees a flyer from someone looking for a partner for an upcoming jigsaw puzzle tournament, and she volunteers. The puzzle enthusiast turns out to be a well-to-do bachelor named Roberto (Arturo Goetz), who is impressed with María's skills; telling Juan she's visiting an ailing relative, María moves into a spare room in Roberto's mansion for a couple weeks, and they begin training in earnest for the upcoming jigsaw championships. As María embraces her renewed passion for puzzles, Roberto introduces her to a more adventurous side of life that she'd all but forgotten. A man goes to unusual lengths to plot an exit strategy for his marriage in this comedy from Argentina. Tenso (Adrian Suar) is an ordinary guy who is married to Tana (Valeria Bertuccelli), a woman who is both beautiful and keenly intelligent. Unfortunately, Tana is also extremely moody and hasn't been able to hold down a job for some time, and every evening Tenso comes home from work to hear his spouse complain about the dead end that is her life and Tenso's annoying pals. Tenso has reached the end of his patience with his marriage, but he doesn't have the nerve to ask Tana for a divorce, so he tries to lure her into infidelity without her realizing it. Tenso persuades a renowned local ladykiller nicknamed the Crow (Gabriel Goity) to seduce Tana, but that proves to be a more difficult assignment than anyone imagined. Meanwhile, Tana finally finds a useful outlet for her profound cynicism when she becomes a featured commentator on a radio show called "Mornings Aren't For Me." A man and a woman struggle through an on-again, off-again love affair amidst some of the most memorable events of Argentina's recent cultural history in this romantic drama. Marcelo (Nicolas Pauls) and Alicia (Malena Solda) meet in 1975 at the final concert of the Argentine rock band Sui Generis and are immediately attracted. Circumstances keep them apart until 1982, when they meet again as the nation is caught up in the excitement of the World Cup soccer finals and the anxiety of the war in the Falkland Islands. Alicia and Marcelo's paths cross later, in 1989, as political turmoil sweeps Buenos Aires, and again in 1999, as millennial angst haunts the globe.
