Best known for her Miss USA victory at the age of 20 in 1995, Shanna Moakler subsequently parlayed her fame into recognition as a centerfold model and a reality television star. A native of Providence, RI, Moakler grew up in a middle-class family as a dentist's daughter, then late in high school caught her first taste of fame with a 1992 Miss Teen USA victory at the age of 17. After high school, Moakler spent time in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles, planning to capitalize on her svelte figure, photogenic countenance, and Miss Teen victory by establishing herself as a print and runway model. Her plan worked beautifully, and in addition to culling a tremendous amount of attention in that sphere, Moakler re-entered the world of pageantry and won the 1995 Miss USA title.At that point, Moakler also began signing for scripted roles, essaying parts in such projects as the features Friends 'til the End (1997) and Love Stinks (1999). In 2001, she posed nude for Playboy and turned up in the December 2001 issue of that magazine as the Playmate of the Month. Her broadest fame, however, arrived courtesy of her relationship with -- and marriage to -- tattooed rock drummer Travis Barker, with whom she had two children. The pair divorced within a couple years, but in the interim starred together on the celebrity reality series Meet the Barkers, which chronicled the vicissitudes of their marriage. Following the Barkers' divorce, Moakler participated in season 3 of Dancing with the Stars as the celebrity half of a pair that also included Jesse DeSoto. They were eliminated second. An FBI agent finds himself crossing the gender line again in the name of national security in this sequel to the comedy hit Big Momma's House. Tom Fuller (Mark Moses) is a computer whiz who is under investigation by the FBI, who suspect he may be the man behind a dangerous piece of underground software that would allow terrorists and criminals to access secured intelligence files online. The Bureau is looking for a way to get inside Fuller's home to find out what he's doing when a golden opportunity presents itself -- Fuller and his wife, Leah (Emily Procter), are in the market for a nanny to help look after their three children. The FBI sends in Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence), who will once again impersonate feisty septuagenarian Hattie Mae Pierce, better known as "Big Momma." Big Momma gets the job, but while trying to dig up the truth about Fuller's possible criminal connections, Malcolm also finds himself developing a close relationship with the suspect's wife and kids. What happens when you realize that your new girlfriend isn't going to be the love of your life -- but she doesn't happen to agree? Some critics pigeonholed the made-for-TV melodrama Friends 'Til the End as a junior version of such theatrical features as All About Eve and Single White Female. A plain-looking, delusional college girl who calls herself Zanne Armstrong (Jennifer Blanc) goes to great lengths to befriend beautiful, popular coed Heather Romley (Shannen Doherty). Heather graciously allows the girl to enter her circle of friends, little suspecting that Zanne obsessed with "becoming" Heather, literally taking over her life and personality. The scheme is set in motion when Zanne joins Heather's campus band Dead Pink, and reaches a peak of sorts when the deranged girl manages to bed Heather's boyfriend--but the worst is still to come. Due South regular Daniel Kash exits the series in spectacular fashion when his character, Chicago detective Louis Gardino, is killed by a bomb intended for Ray (David Marciano).
