His engagement ring stolen just before he was planning to propose to his longtime girlfriend Emma, hapless (but criminally violent) romantic Mike enlists the aid of his four best mates in getting the ring back so he can ask Emma's hand in marriage as planned. Over the course of the next hour, this four-man army will run, fight, and blast their way through the Auckland underworld on a single-minded mission to ensure that Mike's marriage gets off to a proper start. Unfortunately for the thieves - and anyone else who happens to get in the gang's way - quite a few people will die in the process. Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) is somewhat startled to learn that his mother, Alcmene (Liddy Holloway), has agreed to marry King Jason (Jeffrey Thomas). Even more startling is Jason's willingness to give up his throne to wed a commoner -- and his choice of successor: Hercules himself, who declines the honor in favor of his mortal half-brother Iphicles (Kevin Smith). Meanwhile, the evil Patronius (Simon Prast), who covets the throne himself, conspires with Hera to sabotage the wedding. Xena (Lucy Lawless) and Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) rescue an abandoned baby who has been left to drown in a river. The infant is being hunted by the cruel King Gregor (Edward Newborn), out of fear of prophecies that the child will ultimately topple him from his throne. As if doing battle with Gregor isn't hard enough, Xena and Gabrielle must also help the granddaughter (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn) of the infamous Pandora, who must retrieve the equally infamous Pandora's Box, lest it be allowed to unleash havoc upon the world all over again.
